Marijuana to Help Stop Breast Cancer 7
A chemical, cannabidiol, naturally found in the marijuana plant, may prevent the spread of breast cancer. A recent study published in the Molecular Cancer Theraeutics Journal showed that the chemical affects the gene responsible for the growth of metastic cancer cells.
According to the study, “because CBD occurs in only very small quantities in the cannabis plant, the researchers do not recommend smoking marijuana as a cancer treatment. To be effective, CBD will either have to be artificially synthesized or extracted and concentrated.”
Cannabidiol is non-toxic, which could make it a great possible alternative to other treatments like Chemotherapy, which is effective but very toxic and painful for patients.
According to this article, “the researchers also expressed hope that CBD will also prove effective against other cancers that rely on [the gene], including brain, colon and prostate cancer.”
Well there’s a thought. LOL Hope they’re right though.
Breast cancer has to be defeated any way that we can. If it means smoking pot, bring it on.

That is good news, if that plant is used very well then the chances of killing that disease will be bigger. Sooner or later, this world will e breast cancer free.
If this is true they should create or get the substance that may help cure breast cancer for woman. not to smoke it but create a medicine using it.
I carry my very own individual exposure to burning bud, and it doesn’t matter how many times everyday people claim “it’s very good just for this” and “very good for that”, Let me tell you that it nearly harmed my life man! Look, I am aware there are folks that can simply up and stop smoking, but there are various other folks who definitely have the toughest time looking to stop smoking marijuana. The primary trouble with being hooked on grass is usually that the desire is often a mental one, not bodily.
Oh, I absolutely agree with you, Mark. There are no phsyically addicting properties in Marijuana, but that by no means says that it’s not mentally addicting at all. There are several people that get mentally addicted – Myself included, sometimes, and when it gets to that point, it is extremely hard to stop. If you’re careful and don’t let your body get to that point, though, it can be very helpful and medicinal in various ways and is honestly, I believe, at least, a miracle plant.
I, myself, suffer from several ailments that Marijuana is used to treat. I have chronic back pain, terrible anxiety, BiPolar disorder and PTSD, as well as Insomnia and chronic migraines. All of these things can be helped with Marijuana, if not better than with prescription medication like Percocet, Vicodin, Oxycontin, Methadone, etc that are not only dangerously addictive, both physically and mentally, but can also kill you if you mistakenly overdose on them. There’s no reason to be throwing such harmful drugs around, when Marijuana grows naturally and has no dangerous side effects. There’s not a single person in history that has died from a Marijuana Overfose, and besides the Mental addiction, there are no harmful physical side effects by any means. There’s no reason that this miracle plant should be illegal and treated as Taboo, when there are drugs a million times worse on the market that could actually KILL YOU, and they’re perfectly fine to sell…
It’s absolutely ridiculous. I can’t stand these laws, and I can only hope that our generation will be the one to do the right thing and lobby our asses off and explain what needs to be explained and debate what needs to be debated, in a responsible and scientific way, to show that this is not harmful in any shape of the word, and is actually quite the opposite – It is so extremely helpful in so many ways, there’s no reason NOT to legalize it. Not only will it help in healthful ways, but it would absolutely boost the economy as well, and we wouldn’t be in such a recession any longer.
