So, the message board and cam chat didn’t work out. I took them down because nobody was joining and I don’t have enough time to put the effort into it right now with all the other sites I’ve got and trying to find a job and whatnot. Instead, I’ve compiled a list of all the places I go to interact with like-minded people. There’s not very many, but it’s something… I’m really trying to get this place back to what it used to be.

Stoners United is the first website I found that catered specifically to stoners. There have been a lot of changes since I first started visiting almost a year ago – It’s more of a stoner social networking site, complete with a Stoner TV, a couple of video chats with a steady flow of people, and a bunch of groups and fun stuff to take part in. When I was absent for a couple of months there, a lot of the people I met ended up getting banned for one reason or another, so almost all the people in there now are new to me, which makes me feel kind of weird. I haven’t gone in there much lately because of it, but I’m working on getting over my shyness again.

420 Green Room is where a lot of my old friends from SU ended up, so this is where I spend a majority of my time nowadays. This is another almost social networking type site, complete with the cam chats and groups and whatnot. It’s also teamed up with Radio Xenu, so they’ve got constant music playing and lots of fun live shows by members of the chat.

GG Dub is a community for mostly chicks, but there are some guy members. They’re a bunch of really chill people, and have communities on Facebook and MySpace as well. Their biggest feature is their “Dubs”, which is what they call it when they take the pictures you’ve posted and stamp them with their logo in fun colors.

Some others that I’ve heard of are 420chan, SeshRoulette, and GrassCity.

It’s 4/20 and I’ve got more than a half ounce of the lovely sweet leaf. I’ve got my Cotton Mouth shirt, and if I can find it, a ‘Queen O’ the Green’ crown that I bought on St. Patricks Day to wear for 4/20. I thought I put it in my dresser drawer but I couldn’t find it when I looked. I’ll be really upset if I lost it. I was really going to wear it all day.

So far, I smoked at England, Holland, and my own 4/20 at midnight, as well as 12:20. I’ve got a goal to smoke at every :20 that I’m awake today, and at the rate I’m going, I’ll get to smoke at 1:20 as well. It’s only 30 minutes away. That’s it, though. I have to go to bed. I’m dozing off sitting up!

Hubby is coming over sometime around noon and the first order of business is blunts to the face. I think I’m going to live out the Sublime song, “Smoke Two Joints” if I can stretch the weed we have that far.

Okay, so listen. I realize that I’ve been absent for a long time now. It’s all explained pretty well here, if you’re truly interested. I’m not going to apologize, cause it was beyond my control. But I do have something to make up for my absence!

I decided that Sweet Leaf Tribune is not interactive enough. You guys don’t leave comments often, which is fine, but I’m hoping this will give you a little incentive to be more talkative? I installed a Message Board, which I’ve named the Speak Easy, and a WebCam Chat, which I’ve named The Cyph

I encourage everyone to join the Speak Easy… It’s got everything! Marijuana and Cannabis Culture, Medical Marijuana and Cultivation, All of Your Interests, and All About You, and more.

The Cyph is a little different. It’s required that you have a webcam to enter, and you must get on cam when you enter. There are other rules to read over there too, but basically we just don’t want to let any creepy stalkers or narcs in our Cyph, right?

Besides that, I actually wanted to start writing a few personal posts in the mix, cause I’m still shocked when I get emails asking me what my point of view on all of this is. If you read the About page, you’ll see that I do, in fact, smoke weed. I live in NY where it is illegal to do so, but I do it because I believe in it, and I do it because it helps me tremendously. I’ll write a whole separate post about that, but I have a quick story for you instead for now…

About an hour and a half ago, my friend came through and was trying to wake me up. He’s not allowed in my house, so his options are: Phone vs. Throwing Stones at My Window. I unhooked the Wireless Adapter out of the Desktop [I just got a new, sexy laptop!], so the telephone didn’t work…

I guess The Annoyances nurse was downstairs on the porch watching him throw stones at my window. I didn’t hear the first 5, I guess, but the last one definitely shocked me. He said all he saw was my pillow go flying from downstairs, which is funny cause that’s the pillow I sleep with over my head… So he was actually seeing me jump out of bed.

I asked him what he wanted. He said he was here to bring me a headset and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. The first book of the series. I asked him if he intended on chilling for a while too. I rushed downstairs and he said he really only had ten minutes, but he wanted to smoke a couple bowls.

It was the first official Wake-N-Bake I’ve had in a looong time. When I came back upstairs and told The Annoyance I was home, I was stumbling over my words. I was concentrating so hard on not saying “fuck” that it was coming out every other word instead. It was awful. Her nurse was laughing at me, cause I’d stop and apologize and The Annoyance would still yell at me. She was finally like “No, let her be. She’s really trying.” I was like “I’m not ready to exist yet. I need to go back to my room.”

I’m feeling more alive now, thankfully. I think my Hubby just got here, too… So I’m gonna jet.
